  • How much does it cost to put an advert on dubaidonkey.com?

    Advertising a car, job or home on the site is absolutely free. All you have to do is take two minutes to register your details and you can then post as many advert as you like, subject to approval by our support team.

    If you wish to place a banner advertisement on the site or use other premium advertising services, please click here and fill in the online form so that our online marketing department can provide you with a quote.

  • How do I post an advert?

    To post an advert, you firstly need to log in or register your details with us. When this process is complete you will then be taken to your private area. To place an advert, click on the relevant tab, i.e. jobs to place a job advert. Here, you will then be able to click on the option that says advertise.

    Following this screen you will be taken to a form to fill in all the details regarding your offering. Your ad will then be sent to our support team for approval and will be live on the site within hours.

  • How long will my advert stay online for?

    Your advert will be displayed for one month. This is because we want to keep all information on the site as fresh and up to date as possible for our users. After this time, your advert will be removed from the site, but you will of course have the opportunity to renew and/or update the advert on the site.


  • I am a jobseeker, are you advertising jobs?

    Dubaidonkey.com provides the means for employers to advertise their job vacancies. Please use the site to search by sector for different job vacancies from varying companies across Dubai. If we have any job vacancies, we will advertise the job via the dubaidonkey.com search facility.


  • What should I do if I forget my username or password?

    If you have forgotten your username or password, simply click here.

    Here, you will be asked to enter your email address and following this, both your username and password will be sent to your email account instantly.


  • How do I delete my advert?

    To delete your advert, you firstly need to log in to your private area.

    Once here, click on the cars, property or jobs tab depending on what your advert refers to. From here, you will be able to see all the adverts you have listed online. To delete the advert, click on the delete button to the right of the advert. This will remove your advert from the site.


  • How can I edit my advert?

    To edit your advert, you firstly need to log in to your private area.

    Once here, click on the cars, property or jobs tab depending on what your advert refers to. From here, you will be able to see all the adverts you have listed online. To edit the advert, click the edit link to the right of the advert and edit accordingly. When complete, click on the update button at the bottom of the page to view the edited ad. If satisfied with the amendment, click on confirm and approve and you advert will be updated online immediately.


  • Where do I view the job applications that I have received?

    To view the applications you have received for the job you have advertised, you firstly need to log in to your private area.

    When here, click on the job tab. Here you will able to see your job advert with the applications column to the right of it. Click on the number in the column to view the applications made.


  • How do I apply for jobs?

    When you find a suitable job vacancy by searching the jobs on the site, click on the 'apply' button at the bottom of the full page of the advert and you will then be able to submit your resume to the employer and write a covering letter.


  • I've applied for a job but I haven't heard anything. Did they receive my CV?

    When you apply for a job and submit your resume and covering letter you should be taken to a page that displays this message:

    Your application for the job has been sent to the advertiser. You should hear from them shortly.

    This confirms that your resume has been sent to the employer successfully.

    We are not directly involved in the recruitment process as we simply provide the means for recruiters to advertise their vacancies. Therefore, unfortunately, we cannot offer any feedback regarding the status of your application. It is the responsibility of the recruiter to contact you to let you know if your application was successful or not.


  • Are there other ways I can advertise on dubaidonkey.com?

  • How can I stop Dubai Donkey e-mails Going to My Spam/Bulk Mail folder?

    To prevent you receiving unwanted spam emails, some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) block messages from senders whose email addresses are not in the recipient's Address Book or on their Safe Senders List. To ensure your Dubai Donkey messages reach you in the future please add noreply@dubaidonkey.com to your Address Book or Safe Senders List.

    We have provided instructions for the most commonly used ISP's, click on an ISP to find out more:


    AOL 9.0
    1. Click the "Spam Controls" link (lower right area of your inbox).
    2. When the "Mail & Spam Controls" box appears, click "Custom sender list".
    3. Choose "allow email from option".
    4. Add the domain/ email address you would like to receive mail from.
    5. Click on the "Add" icon, then "Save".

    1. Go to Keyword Mail Controls.
    2. Select the screen name you are using to receive email.
    3. Click "Customise Mail Controls For This Screen Name".
    4. For AOL version 7.0: In the section for "exclusion and inclusion parameters", include the following domain: *@dubaidonkey.com
    5. For AOL version 8.0: Select "Allow email from all AOL members, email addresses and domains."
    6. Click on "Next" until the "Save" button shows up at the bottom.
    7. Click "Save"

    To add our email to your "Address Book":
    1. Open the mail you received from Dubai Donkey.
    2. Look at top of the mail at the 'from' field. Click on the white tab with the green plus sign to the right of noreply@dubaidonkey.com
    3. This will display a ''Quick Add'' pop-up form.
    4. Complete this form and click on add.

    To add our email address to your "Safe List":
    1. Click on ''Options'' in the navigation (at the top of the page).
    2. Click on ''Black & White List'' (on the left hand side of screen).
    3. Click the radio button marked ''Your White List''
    4. Enter our e-mail noreply@dubaidonkey.com in the box below.
    5. Click on the ''Add'' button.
    6. Click on the ''Save'' button.

    To add our email address to your "Safe List":
    1. Login to your MSN mail account.
    2. Click on "Settings: E-mail I Junk e-mail at the bottom left hand of your inbox.
    3. Click on the link "Junk e-mail Guard" or "Junk Mail Protection".
    4. Click on "Safe List".
    5. In the box provided type noreply@dubaidonkey.com into the box and click "Add".
    6. When you see the address you entered in the Safe List box, click on the "OK" button.

    To add our email address to your "Contacts List":
    1. Login to your MSN mail account.
    2. Click on "Contacts" folder.
    3. In the new screen which opens, click "New" (upper left corner).
    4. Assign a Quickname in the left hand box.
    5. Enter the Dubai Donkey email address (noreply@dubaidonkey.com) into the "Online Addresses" area.

    To add our email address to your "Safe List":
    1. Login to your Hotmail account.
    2. Once signed in, select the "Contacts" tab.
    3. Click on "Safe List"
    4. Type noreply@dubaidonkey.com in the "type an address or domain name;"
      box and click "Add"
    5. When you see the address you entered in the Safe List box, click on the "OK" button.

    To add our email address to your "Contacts List":
    1. Login to your Hotmail account.
    2. Click on "Contacts" folder.
    3. In the new screen which opens, click "New" (upper left corner).
    4. Assign a Quickname in the left hand box.
    5. Enter the Dubai Donkey email address (noreply@dubaidonkey.com) into the "Online Addresses" area.

    To add our email to your "Address Book":
    1. From your Gmail inbox, open the Dubai Donkey email you have received.
    2. Click on "More Options".
    3. Click on "Add sender to contacts".
    4. Back to Technical Queries.

    To create a filter that sends email from Dubai Donkey straight to your Inbox:
    1. Login to Yahoo Mail.
    2. Click on "Mail Options" (on the right hand side of your screen).
    3. Click on "Filters" (on the left hand side of screen).
    4. Click "Add" button.
    5. Assign a name for this filter: " Dubai Donkey Mail".
    6. Underneath the heading "if all of the following rules are true" go to the top row labelled "I header." Next to this you will see a drop own menu.
      Make sure to select "contains", then simply type in the Dubai Donkey email address (noreply@dubaidonkey.com) into the box provided.
    7. At the bottom, where it says "Move the message to:", select "Inbox"
      from the drop-down menu.
    8. Click the "Add Filter" button at the bottom to add this filter.

    To make sure you can see emails as they were intended to be seen (including images), add our email address (noreply@dubaidonkey.com) to your address book and safe sender list.

    To add our email address to your address book:
    1. Right click on the email subject line.
    2. Choose "Add Sender To Address Book".

    To add our domain to your safe sender list:
    1. Right click on a non-displaying image an HTML email.
    2. Choose "Add the domain to the safe sender list" option.
