Submission Guidelines & Specifications


What you need to submit?

  • Order Number or Insertion Order (IO) number
  • Instructions on how ad elements should work
  • Start Date End Date
  • All Advertising Elements (as individual files in Zip file) including all Flash source files, custom fonts etc.
  • Alt text Click-through URL
  • Targeting and audience parameters.

General Flash Guidelines

All flash creative should be complete with an active URL implemented in the code. When rich media is used, alternative GIF/JPG creative required. Provide Alt Text. Audio must be user-initiated and never automatic. Audio insertion into flash file may begin no earlier than the second frame. If audio is used, creative must include an On/Off switch for users. To distinguish ad from other content, it is recommended that creative should feature a 1 pixel border (grey [#666] or black [#000] is recommended).

Animation should be limited to first 15 seconds, unlimited looping is unlimited within 15 seconds.
Please keep animation smooth and fluid, using slow motions and gentle fades.
Ad should open into new browser.


Third Party Serving Guidelines

Third-party tags must serve a default GIF/JPG for browsers that do not support rich media.
We do not track clickthroughs for 3rd Party or implement redirects in the creative code.
We should be informed in advance of any creative change for approval.
